Mina Protocol launched blockchain-oriented blockchain using ZK-Snarks

The MINA Protocol project has launched blockchain-oriented blockchain on the basis of evidence technology with zero disclosure (Zero-Knowledge Proofs).

The developers got the opportunity to launch the MINA in the ecosystem
decentralized applications called SnApps. They are based on the use of ZK-SNARKS, ensuring the privacy of users and the ability to prove the possession of data without their disclosure.

The first MINA application will be the Teller Finance landing protocol. Its users will not have to transfer data on the actual credit rating to third parties – it will only be enough to prove that it exceeds the necessary threshold.

“MINA can simply connect to the site with data on the credit rating, generate evidence on the user’s local device (for example, exceeding the threshold in the context of the credit rating), and then provide evidence of the requesting side,” the project representatives explained.

Mina also concluded a partnership with the Coinlist platform, thanks to which the developers intend to attract $ 18.75 million by means of tokensil. A total of 75 million tokens will be available for $ 0.25 each.

In total, the project attracted $ 29.4 million following a number of rounds of financing rounds. Among the MINA investors: Coinbase Ventures, Paradigm, Three Arrows Capital, PolyChain, CEO ANGELIST Naval Ravikant and others.

Mina Protocol blockchain has been developed since June 2017. Previously, the project was called Coda Protocol.

Recall that in October last year, Mina Protocol attracted $ 10.9 million from famous Asian investors.
